Writer and sex educator, Tomara Garrod, leads this one-day creative workshop on consent as an everyday pratice. Tomara will use theatre and creative writing exercises to step away from the general understanding of consent as a contractual agreement. Instead, we will explore the various forms of communication that we use everyday to establish consent as a common ground between us and other people.
This workshop may be triggering for survivors of sexual violence. Fidget toys, sensory touchstones, and regular breaks will be provided to help support participants' wellbeing throughout.
Part of QUEERCIRCLE’s exploration of creative health and well-being
