Luisa D Rozo is bringing forth physical essays of choreography within landscapes of low-tech fabrication. After a long hiatus from movement performance, focused on sonic research, cultural production and training as a therapist. As a light designer, Luisa is particularly drawn to illumination as a carrier of stories, activating the pressing need to witness craft-in-process in resistance to product centred logics. Her work invokes everpresent threads of auto-etnographic insight, the physical forces that shape our complex systems and the mundane as a vehicle for cosmic enquiry. She insists on teenage melancholia as a foundational potency to face times of moral collapse, using song as an impulse for embodied remembrance.
