• OPEN CALL

  • We are excited to announce a new open call for our Catalyst Programme designed to support existing queer groups.

  • In practical terms, the programme provides in-kind space for groups to meet and make use of our communal resources, AV tech, art materials and more. QUEERCIRCLE’s mission is to harness the radical potential of the arts for individual, collective and societal transformation.
We are particularly interested in supporting groups who are:

    • Arts and/or creative health focused
    • Reflecting diverse identities and varied lived experiences
    • Interested in collective ways of working
    • Open to contributing to our wider programme

  • Eligibility

    • Group Type: We welcome informal or community-based groups. You do not need to be a registered CIC, Charity, or Limited Company to apply.
    • Alignment with our Values: Your group should align with QUEERCIRCLE’s values and Community Guidelines.
    • Previous Users: Groups that have previously used our space are eligible to apply again.
    • Partnership Engagement: As a partner, you agree to meet with the QUEERCIRCLE team quarterly (every 3 months), attend a building induction and sign a partnership agreement.
  • Partnership Agreement

This new programme aims to foster long-lasting relationships with our partners, recognising that such connections may take time to develop firmly. As partners, we aspire to work together to establish an agreement, beginning from this starting point:

    • Point of Contact: You must nominate a designated point of contact with relevant experience in facilitating, safeguarding, and coordinating groups and events.
    • Mutual Respect: We foster an environment of respect and care among all participants.

    • Clear Communication: Maintain open, clear and regular communication through the partnership to avoid hiccups in scheduling and other agreements

    • Feedback & Evaluation: We highly encourage participation in our reflective process by completing feedback forms, both as organisers and within your group.

    • Key Responsibility: You will be responsible for holding a key to the building to be used during agreed upon meeting times whilst staff may or may not be present

    • Collaboration: Priority will be given groups open to collaboration with QUEERCIRCLE and to collaborate with other partners and groups.

    • Policy Adherence: Adhere to QUEERCIRCLE policies, including safeguarding, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, risk assessments, code of conduct, health and safety, and data protection.

    • Meeting Attendance: Attend all scheduled meetings as part of the partnership agreement.

    • Remain flexible: This is a new programme and we hope to create long lasting relationships with our partners which may take some time to develop firmly.
