The Queer Community Library is a free, open space for queer books, zines, publications and conversation. Drop in to read, browse the shelves, work, listen or just spend time somewhere warm with others. No booking required.

- Read and browse
  
  Books, zines and publications by and about queer people, across fiction, poetry, history, theory and politics. Pull something off the shelf and settle in.
- Stay, work and meet
  
  Tables to work at, sofas to sink into, and a space to meet friends or make new ones. Come for ten minutes or the whole day.
- Share what you know
  
  The library holds queer knowledge in all its forms, not only books. Bring your stories, zines, projects and questions.
- Donate to the library
  
  The collection grows with its community. We're accepting book, zine, sounds and research donations all season. HOW TO DONATE
A library shaped by the people who use it

We think libraries can do more than hold knowledge. They can be living spaces for memory, access, political education, community and resistance, that respond to and are shaped by the communities they serve.

So the collection is built with you. What's on the shelves, and what happens around them, reflects the many ways of being, living and knowing that make up our communities.
Open Days
Alongside regular opening, the library hosts four free Saturday Open Days this season. Each one is curated by a different part of our community, with talks, workshops and time to gather. You don't need to come to an Open Day to visit the library.
