• Where we meet

an invitation to collectively imagine QUEERCIRCLE's future
  • This space brings together the many groups, partners and communities that meet within the QUEERCIRCLE ecosystem, and invites them into a shared process of reflecting on what comes next. Through this collective enquiry, experiences, intentions and future hopes are shared with artist Rachel Sale, who will weave these contributions into an ever-growing visual collection.

Throughout the winter, the gallery operates as a working studio: a space for listening, making and exchange shaped by those who use it. Groups are encouraged to explore the space, engage with the games and tools provided, and leave traces of their thoughts, conversations and encounters.

Rooted in solidarity, Where We Meet creates space to gather, reflect and act. It centres collective knowledge as a way of responding to the social and political conditions we are navigating together.

    About The Artist

Rachel Sale (she/her) is a London-based artist who focuses on collective making. Since 2019, she has been leading F.A.T. Studio CIC, a non-profit arts organisation that runs collaborative art projects from a shopfront on Old Kent Road, southeast London. In 2024, she was Illustrator-in-residence at the V&A Museum, where she explored illustration as a method for building self-compassion, community, and visions of the future. Since then, she’s been working with her neighbours on projects that explore collective representation and new structures for living/working together.
