I joined Queercircle because I believe in the importance of queer visibility. It's important that queer creatives have a central platform on which we share ideas and dialogue regarding LGBT+ matters. I want to contribute to the process of nurturing, recording and archiving queer existence.

Queer artists and communities need to feel and know that there are organisations that offer holistic support. I hope Queercircle is the start of a community that supports creatives of today and the future. I see an inclusive community led program that will be a place where creatives are free to explore challenging ideas and our ever more challenging world.

Through Queercircle’s growth, I'd like to see similar organisations across Sub-Saharan Africa, and hope that it creates open dialogue within marginalised communities.
