QUEERCIRCLE has quickly established itself as a vital resource for emerging LGBTQ+ artists. Our commissioning enables artists exploring radical, anti-oppressive and intersectional issues to experiment, take-risks and present ambitious new work. Through a queer lens - whether explicitly or implicitly - to date, artists have advocated for environmental and land justice; connecting with local and national campaigns, as well as the rights of migrants and workers.
We are also increasingly understanding the role we can play in advocating for queer artists through commissioning partnerships, and providing additional context and support in the development of new work off site.

The resulting object is both a visual record of their respective features and, imbued with hair and skin cells, a material infusion of their physicality.
